I support many women in finding their own voice and confidence in their sexuality through my Pleasure Psychology approach. That often touches their relationships too. This is why I also work with couples.
Do you feel as though you’ve lost sight of each other? Do your conversations go round in circles, or barely happen at all? Does sex feel distant or uncertain? Do you want to do more than just get through everyday life together, and really meet each other again?
Many couples go through times when closeness is difficult. Old hurts linger. Becoming parents, changes at work or moving home can put a strain on your connection. These times don’t mean you’ve failed. They can be an invitation to see each other afresh, be honest about what you feel and say what you need. To find a way forward together, with more closeness, clarity and desire.

Some things become easier to see in a group. You work on your own relationship as a couple while gaining fresh perspectives from the experiences and processes of the other couples.
Andreas Assenbaum is a systemic couples and family therapist, multifamily therapist, supervisor and systemic counsellor. Together, we bring psychological insight, systemic couples and group work, and an embodied perspective on closeness, desire and relationships.
